Questions parents ask

What exactly do I get?

A 26-page illustrated e-book written for your child's age, with your child and the people you add drawn as storybook characters on every page, plus a dedication page with your own message. You can read it online and download it as a PDF.

How long does it take?

We start drawing as soon as you've paid. It usually takes a little while to write and illustrate every page, and we email you the moment the book is ready.

What happens to my photos?

Photos are only used to draw the characters. They're deleted as soon as the character page is drawn, and they're never shown to anyone else.

What if a picture isn't quite right?

Once the book is ready you can ask us to redraw single illustrations and edit the text of any page.

Can I get a printed copy?

Printed hardcovers aren't available in the UK yet. Your e-book is saved in your account, so it will be ready to print when they are.
